Given the wisdom of those before me, it is the adoption of the above philosophy that led me towards an Integrative Approach to Counselling and Therapy.

I draw from a number of therapeutic schools of thought including Client-centred Therapy, Choice Therapy, CBT, 12 Step, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, & Solution-focussed Therapy, to name a few. However, the over-riding principle I adhere to is one of a belief in the inherent goodness within each of us, a goodness that, for any number of reasons, we can lose sight of.

It would be a honour to join you in your journey of self-discovery, awareness and recovery. To steal a quote from another source of inspiration.

“Out of the chaos a dancing star emerges”

- Friedrich Nietzsche

I qualified as a therapist in 1996. Since that time I have served in both the public and private sectors, becoming Clinical Coordinator in the public sector, and Therapy Manager in a private treatment facility. My practice has been primarily, yet not exclusively, focused on the treatment of a number of addictive behaviours, which has inevitably led to addressing co-morbidities of depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.
